It may have cost me a pretty penny, but today I bought the complete box set of HBO's "Rome." Both seasons. I simply could not resist this offer, since it came from the decaying, soon-to-be-defunct, HMV.
I had all but forgotten this show. Titus Pullo was always my favourite character - a quintessential rogue, thief and scoundrel, It's always the scoundrels, somehow - I always sympathise with the scoundrels, because they have the most entertaining outlooks on life.
