Mongoose have launched their new free epic saga for Traveller, "The Pirates of Drinax." There's a recurring cast of NPCs, a slowly decaying floating palace, people wandering around wearing fancy costumes, men in uniforms and brocade, women with glittering jewellery, silk dresses, big hair.
I suddenly imagined them, first thing this morning, walking around - and suddenly one of them wanders up to front of stage and bursts into operatic song, while the rest of them bunch up and form a Gilbert & Sullivan chorus behind her.
The Pirates of Dri ... zance.
"I am the very model of an interstellar Traveller;
A murderer for hire and virginity unraveller ..."
