Hard to imagine, but this tape would probably have had more kids sitting listening to it than most TV shows. As a matter of fact, many kids sat and recorded these tracks and played them on cassette, over and over, until the tapes themselves grew warped.
Imagine the disappointment of a whole generation of kids when transmission of this tape ceased, in May 1983, and the tracks were heard no more.
In my case the disappointment was so much the greater because I never had the chance to record the track listed above. I didn't even know what it was called, and there were no Cat Stevens fans in my school as far as I could tell.
So, for the longest time, I wondered what that track had been called, who'd composed it and whether or not I would ever hear it again.
Until now.
Nostalgia. Enjoy.
