Terry Wogan's Great Misjudgment

In 1991, former TV presenter and former athlete David Icke took a brief sabbatical from presenting TV shows. When he came back, he was wearing turquoise, and he had a message for the world. And he went on the chat show Wogan to espouse his world view to presenter Terry Wogan.

This was a misjudgment. On both sides.

Since that time, of course, the BBC's record for supporting and even championing evil in its midst has been well and truly exposed. Stuart Hall. Rolf Harris.

Jimmy Savile.

You really have to ask - who's laughing now?

I don't even recall laughing back then, either.
